Madelyn's first season as a softball playing mama is over. She had a FABULOUS time...but then again everything she does is fabulous because of her great personality and wonderful heart. We have some work to do before next season on our batting skills and fielding but it really was a great season.
Maddie and Coach Yanko
Much of the credit for that goes to her coach, Alison Yanko. Coach Yanko is an amazing person and so giving. She gave her all to a team filled with girls not her own.
The team celebrated a great season by going out to lunch at the Golden Corral. I admit I was not fond of the idea but I was pleasently surprised by how nice it was. They had a fun afternoon of eating and celebrating. I know we will miss Coach Yanko when we move up to the next league next year!
