What is more fun then getting together with the girls, eating and jewelry? Some of my favorite gals in Fayetteville got together as we do every month for our Lutheran Moms Group. Our group consists of the young moms of our congregation (FYI..I KNOW I am not young nor do I have young children but seeing as how the average age of our congregation is 60....I kinda AM young! LOL!!) that get together about once a month for fun & food!
This month my wonderful friend Lindsey was in charge! She did a FABULOUS job setting up a jewelry making class for us! We all meet at St. James to drop off our food (um hello..Lutherans ALWAYS potluck!) and headed down to road to downtown Fayetteville. There are so many wonderful shops and restaurants down there...many of which I still need to check off my list! Back to the point though...
http://twistedjeweler.com/ is a fabulous shop with SO many fun things to do! We made bracelets this time but Michael does classes in ALL kinds of jewelry.

It was a wonderful time had be all until we realized that not only was the store clock an hour behind..it was an hour and 15 MINUTES behind! Tanya and I RAN out of the shop, up Hay St, jump in the car and speed off to pick up Carly from the gym...all in 12 minutes. It was the first time I have ever been late getting her and I feel HORRIBLE. Lucky for me she was cool...and more then happy to join us for lunch in the church kitchen..pork BBQ, Panzanella, Macaroni Salad and fresh fruit with yogurt sauce. Yum Yum! Wonder what we should do next time....you know it will be fun since it is my turn to plan!!!
How fun! So glad that you have met a wonderful group of friends and are getting involved. But where is the picture of your final product? I want to see!
