It's almost summer and behind the gates in my lush and exclusive gated community that means some of my friends will be leaving. It is a sad, hard truth that being a military wife means saying goodbye to people who have made my life so very blessed.
Summer is a time for change in my world.......so with a heavy heart I will say see you later to 2 special ladies(Wendi and Leslie). Thank goodness the Marine Corps is small....I will see my friends again. With our luck...we will all be back at Camp Lejeune!
Saturday night I did something I have never done before and thought I would never do. I danced on a pole....well, more like dance with a pole! A bunch of my girlfriends (henceforth known as the Stiletto Girls) surprised our friend Wendi with a going away Pole Dancing Party! She was shocked as she thought we had planned some horribly embarrassing event for her involving work-out gear and high heels! It was an amazing night with awesome friends!
